BrightStar II, tested as 2M3, has demonstrated improved
characteristics and performance over the extremely dark green
BrightStar perennial ryegrass, BrightStar II has these outstanding
features:

BRIGHTSTAR II
- Performs well in a wide range of soil types and geographical
areas
- Ideally suited to overseeding dormant bermudagrass
- Excellent year-round turf quality
- Low growth profile (for reduced mowing and clipping removal)
- Transitions well in overseeding situations
- Improved disease resistance
- Medium late maturity for less stemmy turf in spring
- High density with fine texture
- Improved mowing qualifies
- Excellent resistance to leaf spot, crown rust, stem rust,
and dollar spot
Establishment:
BrightStar II establishes quickly in bare soft and will
germinate in 6 days with favorable conditions. Dark color and
a height of 2 to 3" can be expected in two weeks, with the
first mowing at about 21 days. |
